She earned her BA in English Language and Literature from Erciyes University in 2016, where she also completed the English Teacher Training Program. She began her career as an ESL instructor at a reputable private school, serving as both an assessor and program leader for a Pearson-affiliated curriculum. In 2018, she relocated to Istanbul to pursue an MA in English Literature at Yeditepe University. Her thesis, titled "Myths of Women in Contemporary Dystopian Novels: Louise O'Neill's Only Ever Yours, Christina Dalcher's Vox, and Leni Zumas's Red Clocks" explores feminist theory in contemporary dystopian literature written by women.
After graduating with upper-second-class honours in March 2021, she joined Istanbul Aydın University as an English language instructor. Since November 2021, she has been a member of the Preparatory School at Fatih Sultan Mehmet Vakıf University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in English Literature at Istanbul Aydın University.
